The investigation of association between board diversity and the firm performance is subject many studies. However, empirical results presented in extant literature are inconclusive at best. could be due to several factors one them that relationship contingent on some key factors. Given rising trend Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) activities, this paper tested context ESG activities. examination study listed Chinese firms. sample period spans for 6 years collected from 2014 2019. This work uses a dynamic approach modelling relationships. generalised method moments (GMM) used two-step system. An endogeneity-free estimate may achieved by using strategy. We can learn great deal these hypotheses. There positive substantial correlation firm's success, which suggests diverse boards beneficial businesses. Both activities coefficient company significant. shows investors appreciate companies involved because they see as an investment pays off.
